Jesús Villarroel (Chus) nació en Tejerina, León, en 1935. Ingresó en el noviciado de los Dominicos de Ocaña. La Filosofía la estudió en Ávila y la Teología en Alemania y Suiza. Terminó su formación con el Doctorado de Filosofía en Roma. Se ha dedicado largos años al profesorado en la facultad de los Dominicos de Alcobendas, y algunos cursos en la Pontificia de Salamanca. Ha ejercido varias veces el cargo de Prior y el de Maestro de Estudiantes. En la Renovación carismática ha trabajado con intensidad desde hace 18 años, sobre todo en la predicación y retiros; y durante 8 años en la Coordinadora nacional. Se ha ocupado, igualmente, de otras labores pastorales en la parroquia periférica de Jesús obrero, en San Blas, durante 3 años. Hasta hace muy poco fué párroco en la parroquia de Ntrª. Sra. del Rosario, de la calle Conde de Peñalver, Madrid, desde el año 1987. Hoy Superior de la Casa de Móstoles.

Con motivo de las obras de reparación de la Catedral. La Virgen se encuentra alojada en la parroquia de los Franciscanos, donde se celebrará ,como todos los años la novena del mes de Mayo desde el día 15 al 23 inclusives.
El predicador será Don Jesús Villarroel, dominico , conocido teólogo de la Renovación en el Espiritu Santo.
